         Pastor Brodie I. Johnson is dedicated to ensuring that a safe environment is provided for our members, staff, and visitors. Further, all staff members are provided with a safe workplace and appropriate safety training. Safety is an important and integral element in each of our duties and is considered as one of the single most important aspect of anything we do. It is the goal of the Cornerstone Institutional Baptist Church to provide a safe and healthy environment for all members, leaders and visitors.

          Mr. Robert Williford works each day that the church is open and works each and every special event.  He patrols the church inside and outside, provides security all while he is on duty each day, and also makes sure that everything is secure before he leaves each night.  He has been our Security Officer here for about one year. Robert started with Peace Security and then became the Chief Security Officer for CIBC under the leadership of Deacon Gregory Cole.  Robert is a wonderful asset to the CIBC church; very kind, lenient, and accessible to the church members.  Upon leaving the church services, please be sure to give Robert a smile and a wave, to let him know that you know and appreciate that he is there. We are very, very, proud to have him watching over us!

          The mission of the CIBC Emergency Plan is to provide a safe, secure, spiritual, and worshipful environment for all of the members and visitors of Cornerstone.
